The Falken Wildpeak AT3w gives you amazing on road comfort and wet traction, while the General Grabber ATX is very efficient in terms of wear and winter performance. Both tires are also great off road but Falken Wildpeak AT3w provides you with a little bit of an upper hand. For example, on muddy terrains, although all terrain tires are notorious for performing poorly Wildpeak offers deepest tread in the category going up to 19/32” where maximum seen on Grabber is 16/32". The deep tread voids provide good enough mud cleaning while stepped edges on Z shaped blocks and the notches on c shaped ones cut through the mud much more effectively in comparison. The General Grabber ATX is not so efficient with mud as it features an interlocking design, which by the way looks very similar to BFG KO2. Furthermore, the Falken Wildpeak features thicker sidewall lugs, which grab and pull more efficiently during flexing, when you air down the tire to lower PSI values.
